Rollie Vincent

President

Rollie Vincent is a founder, co-owner, and president of Rolland Vincent Associates.  With more than 40 years of aviation industry experience, Rollie serves as a trusted advisor to some of the leading business and general aviation organizations in the world. He has held various positions in strategy, marketing, business development, economics, and aviation statistics at Textron / Cessna, Bombardier (commercial and business aircraft), Flexjet, and ICAO.

Identifying a need for enhanced insights into the state of the business aviation marketplace, RVA partnered with JETNET in 2010 to create JETNET iQ, a respected source of independent market intelligence incorporating proprietary voices-of-the-customer research and syndicated state-of-the-industry reports. Since 2011, more than 25,000 business aircraft owners and operators have participated in JETNET iQ’s Global Business Aviation Surveys, creating the industry’s largest and most comprehensive database of customer insights.  He is the architect and chair of the annual JETNET iQ Summit, bringing together titans of the industry to discuss and deliberate issues and opportunities across the global business aviation industry. He is past chairman of the U.S. Transportation Research Board’s Standing Committee on Light Commercial and General Aviation, overseeing subcommittees focused on commercial aviation, business aviation, and helicopters / vertical lift solutions.

A private pilot and lifelong aviation aficionado, Rollie earned a BA and MA in economic geography and an MBA in international business and marketing from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

DEAN ROBERTS

Vice President, STRATEGY, SUSTAINABILITY & DEVELOPMENT

Jennifer Nice is a founder, co-owner, and Vice President of Research and Analysis at Rolland Vincent Associates. She has more than 40 years of experience in corporate finance, banking, auditing, and consulting for institutions including Royal Bank of Canada, RBC Capital Markets, and PriceWaterhouse, some of the most respected names in their industries. With a background in financial analysis, strategy, costing, and commercial real estate, she has led special project teams and held project management and managerial positions in finance, accounting, and consulting.

At Rolland Vincent Associates and with JETNET iQ, she designs and develops analytical tools, demand and market share / fleet forecasts, web-based surveys, as well as cost / revenue and financial models. Creative and productive, she maintains rigorous aviation survey databases and develops tabular and graphical presentations of complex information that inform and are tailored to a broad range of audiences and clients.

A resident of Plano, Texas, she has a B. Comm. in accounting from Concordia University and an MBA in finance and marketing from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

JENNIFER NICE

VICE PRESIDENT, RESEARCH ANALYSIS & INSIGHTS

Dr. Dean Roberts brings over four decades of expertise in strategy, industry analysis, market forecasting, and analytics, with a distinguished 40 year career at Rolls-Royce. He played a pivotal role in developing their business aviation sector, focusing on market forecasts for all their engine programs, and providing insights into the pre-owned market. His experience spans Corporate Development, Future Programs, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.

Dr. Roberts currently chairs the Business Aviation Subcommittee of the U.S. Transportation Research Board (TRB), leading 10-year market forecasts and surveys with fellow industry experts. He was an active contributor to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) Environment Committee, providing market forecast guidance in 2021 to support the Business Aviation Commitment on Climate Change (BACCC).

Dr. Roberts has strong academic credentials. He lectured at the University of Virginia for six years, teaching the global aerospace industry. His 2017 publication, "Entering the Civil Aircraft Industry: Business Realities at the Technological Frontier," captures his insights. In 2023, he joined the Industry Advisory Board of Purdue University’s School of Aviation and Transportation Technology.

Dean earned his Mechanical Engineering degree at Coventry University and his PhD at Cranfield University where he studied industry entry barriers. Beyond his professional achievements, he is a runner, enjoys reading, and is a classic rock aficionado. He resides near Washington, D.C.
